It has been several years since we have last seen the popular midsize pickup, the Ford Ranger. It was discontinued in 2011 and has been sorely missed ever since. But we have exciting news that the Ford Ranger is making a dramatic comeback with a bold new style!

The previous Ford Ranger was smaller than most other midsize pickups during its time on the road but was still a fan favorite for drivers looking for the utility a truck offers. The all-new 2019 Ford Ranger is going to raise the bar for trucks in its class for powerful performance, advanced safety, and is ready for every adventure with impressive off-road ability.

There are a number of drivers out there who are looking for the utility of a pickup but are often dithered because of large trucks fuel efficiency; even with all of the recent advancements to improve fuel economy. But the 2019 Ford Ranger offers the perfect blend of powerful performance and efficiency that you will love thanks to a 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder paired with a class-exclusive 10-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy rating have yet to be released but the 2019 Ranger is equipped with Auto Start-Stop technology to maximize efficiency and will generate around 300 horsepower. Which can easily tow up to 7,700 lbs.

Like its big brother the Ford F-150, the Ford Ranger is raising the bar for advanced safety features that many of its competitors don’t offer. Like Adaptive Cruise Control and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection. Or BLIS, blind spot detection, with trailer coverage and Lane Keeping system. In addition to the latest advanced safety features the 2019 Ranger is available with a wide range of technology that includes Wi-Fi hotspot that can support up to 10 devices and works up to 50 feet outside of the truck. Or of SYNC 3 with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto as well as Ford+Alexa personal-assistant functionality.

There will be three trim levels of the 2019 Ford Ranger, the XL, XLT, and Lariat. All of which are well equipped to handle all of your towing and hauling needs. Each trim level will be available as either a FX2, two-wheel-drive, or FX4, four-wheel-drive truck. The FX4 models offer impressive off-road capabilities. The FX4 models come standard with aforementioned E-locker, all-terrain tires, dampers tuned for off-road activity, a steel front bash plate, steel skid plates, and special FX badging.
